Getting started can often be the hardest part of a research project, especially if you're new to the subject. We encourage you to book a personal research session with one of our librarians!

We also have a chat service that is available. And if the chat is offline, it will place your question in a queue for response by the next librarian on duty.

If you don't have time to meet with a Librarian, our librarians have created some Research Guides to help you take that first step.

We have research guides for many subject areas, from something as broad as Psychology to something as specific as Costume History. We also have many guides that have been designed for the needs of specific courses that you might be in, like BIO 346: Neurobiology. We even have interdisciplinary topic guides, like the one on Fake News, or Research Metrics.

If you don't know how to start your research, we hope that a research guide can help point you in the right direction!
