We do have color scanners in the library. The best one to use depends on what kind of output you want.

  • If you just want a color scan of something to email to yourself or save as a pdf, we have very easy to use touch-screen scanners located at the main Circulation desk on Reynolds 2, and in the Reference area on Wilson 4. These are touch-screen, easy to use scanners that allow you to email yourself an attached scanned image, or upload the image to your Google Docs.  Choose the color option as you are picking your features.
  • If you want a color printout immediately of something, you can use any of the Xerox photocopiers/printers located throughout ZSR Library.  For more information on library printers, please see:
  • We also have a large flat bed scanner on the 4th floor of the library in the Reynolds wing in the Government Documents area. This has a larger scanning bed and more sophisticated image software on in but you would need to save the document or send it to print to the Xerox photocopiers/printers if you want a printout.
